A few things about me
I grew up in Madison, WI. It’s a picturesque place full of green fields and lots of content cows. It’s also a little bit on the boring side. Seeking a place where I won’t always be the only one in the room wearing black, I decided to go to art school. I also opted to move to a different country while I was at it.
I moved to Toronto, Canada to attend the Ontario College of Art & Design and it was every bit the adventure I craved. I also picked up a bit of a Canadian accent to go with my midwestern accent don’t ya know. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do art or design but then I took an advertising course and that was it – I was smitten. After I graduated I went to work at CP+B Toronto for two years where I became even more smitten with advertising.
I still do art and design in my free time and I also love to take photos which you can see some of here. The things that makes me most happy are making things and traveling to new places. My newest adventure is relocating to Brooklyn, New York in May 2011. I expect to have the most confusing accent ever in a few years.
